Congratulations, you have found your way to Wisdom From Beyond, an immersive, interactive, transmedia story based on H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Haunter of the Dark,” designed and produced by students of Full Sail University's Creative Writing for Entertainment BFA program. The following is a quick overview of the different steps in this Transmedia tale.
1 While our story began with a post on twitter from @DianaBlakeCW, anyone can find the video that started our event at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJfFSxM-JP0.
2. From that video, My Family, The Curse, The Stone, viewers will be directed to a blog post about the stone, The Stones Dark Past at http://descendantandthedarkness.blogspot.com/2015/10/the-stones-dark-past.html.
3. From that post, viewers will hopefully immerse themselves in the blog to find out the history of Diana Blake, the mysterious events haunting her, and the details on the curse that is driving her insane.
4. To free herself from this curse, Diana must find the Shining Trapezohedron. She starts her journey to the shores of Narragansett Bay. To find out specifics viewers should find the blog post entitled Narragansett Bay http://descendantandthedarkness.blogspot.com/2015/10/narragansett-bay.html, where they will find a link to the video On My Way at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4qhbR0D2wc.
5. From the On My Way video, viewers will be able to follow her progress in her search for the stone by finding her Google Plus account and third video, Finally, at https://plus.google.com/117353753609595157288/posts/Hb2dANUjJgH.
6. Once the viewer discovers that video, they will see a prompt to email Diana at Diana.blakecw@gmail.com directions to holy or sacred ground to destroy the stone.
7. Once Diana receives directions, she will respond in an email with directions to the final act of the story.
8. Once that email is sent, the curse may finally be broken.
